A PSER registration check by CNIC lets you confirm that your household is on record and see where your application stands. This guide shows you how to do your PSER status check online, what each status means, and what to do if you cannot log in.

After you finish PSER online registration, it is normal to want to confirm it went through. The main way to check is to log in to the official portal and open your application. You do not need to register again just to check.

What you need before you check

Keep these ready so the check takes only a minute:

  • Your CNIC number, which works as your username
  • Your password from when you registered
  • The email you registered with, in case you need to reset your password

If you have not registered yet, there is nothing to check. Start with our PSER online registration guide first, then come back here.

How to do a PSER registration check by CNIC

You check your status by logging in to the official login portal.

  1. Go to the login portal at portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk.
  2. Enter your CNIC as the username.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Open your application to see the current status.

Your CNIC is how the system finds your record, which is why people call this a “check by CNIC.” For your privacy, you log in with your CNIC and password together. No genuine service shows your status from your CNIC alone, so be careful of any site that claims it can.

Log in with your CNIC and password to see your PSER status.

What your PSER status means

Inside the portal, your application shows a status. In general terms:

  • A submitted or recorded status means your household data is saved in the registry.
  • An under review status means the government is still processing your data.

A recorded status does not, by itself, mean you have been approved for a payment. Approval for any specific program is decided separately, using a score the government calculates and does not share publicly. Always read the exact wording shown in your own account rather than relying on a screenshot from somewhere else.

Check by CNIC or by the 8070 package

You may have heard about checking a package through the 8070 SMS code. The 8070 short code is a government SMS service used for the Chief Minister’s relief packages in Punjab. To use it, you send your CNIC to 8070 as described in the official announcement for that package.

This is separate from your PSER portal status. PSER is the registry; the SMS services are for specific packages that check against it. For your PSER record itself, the portal login above is the reliable way to do your PSER status check.

If your PSER login check fails

The most common reasons a PSER login check does not work, and how to fix each one:

  • Wrong password. Use the Forgot Password link on the login page. The portal sends a reset link to your registered email. Our portal login and password guide has the full walkthrough.
  • Wrong CNIC. Enter the 13 digits exactly as printed on your card, with no dashes or spaces.
  • The portal is busy. It can be slow when many people are online. Try again early in the morning or late at night.
  • No access to your registered email. If the reset email cannot reach you, visit a registration center for help in person.

How often should you check?

You do not need to check every day. Your status changes as the government processes survey data, and that takes time. A sensible approach is to check once after you submit to confirm your application was recorded, then again after a few weeks, or whenever a program you are interested in announces results. Checking more often will not speed anything up.

Keep your details safe

Your PSER account holds your household information, so protect it:

  • Only log in at the official address, portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk. Check the address bar first.
  • Never share your password or any code with someone who calls or messages you offering to check or approve your case.
  • The check is free. Never pay an agent to view your status.

A few simple habits keep your record and your family’s data safe.

Get official help

If online checking is not working for you, call the government helpline at 0800-02345, or visit a nearby registration center, including an E-Khidmat Markaz. Staff there can help you check your record. Keep your CNIC with you.

Remember, GoPunjab cannot check your status for you. We have no access to any government system. We only explain how to do it yourself. If you are not sure you qualify for income-based programs, read the PSER eligibility criteria next, or learn more about what PSER is.
