Archaeology procurement specialist jobs 2026 are open: the Directorate General of Archaeology, under the Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of the Punjab, has advertised 10 contract seats on 9 posts, including 4 Procurement Specialist seats. The posts are for ADP projects at Rohtas Fort (Jhelum), Hiran Minar (Sheikhupura) and Harappa (Sahiwal), a tourism Program Management Unit (PMU) and a capacity building project. The last date to apply online is 18 October 2026.

The ad (IPL-10331) was posted on the Punjab Jobs Portal on 2 October 2026; the ad itself does not print a date. The appointments are temporary, non-transferable and non-pensionable, tied to the specific project post, and give no right to regularization. The ad lists the project end dates: June 2028 for the PMU, and June 2027 for the three heritage site projects and the capacity building project. The Directorate can reduce the number of posts or cancel the recruitment without giving reasons.

How to apply for archaeology procurement specialist jobs 2026

  1. Open the portal: go to jobs.punjab.gov.pk. If you are new, click Register, enter your email and a password, and open the activation link sent to your email. Our Punjab Job Portal guide shows each screen.
  2. Complete your profile: add your personal details, every degree, and your jobs with dates. The portal matches your profile to the post, so a half-filled profile can block you.
  3. Find the post: search for “Directorate General of Archaeology” or the post name. The site posts show the site in the title, for example “Procurement Specialist - Harappa” or “Procurement Specialist - Rohtas Fort”. The PMU post is listed simply as “Procurement Specialist”.

  5. Apply for each post separately: the ad says each post needs its own application. If you want two Procurement Specialist posts, apply to each one.
  6. Upload your documents: the ad warns that incomplete applications will be rejected.
  7. Finish by 18 October 2026: applications after this date are not considered.
